Cosmote TV launches new OTT service

Cosmote's Cosmote TV launched a new over the top (OTT) service for TVs and mobile phones, which changes the way end-users watch television. With the new service, subscribers enjoy all the premium content of the platform through AI-based personalised suggestions create using their preferences and habits.
Cosmote TV also said it provides 4K content in premiere in the country through the channel Cosmote Sport 4K.
The OTT service is accessible – for new subscribers – through WiFi Android TV Box, as an application for mobile devices (tablets, smartphones) and via a browser for PCs / laptops, and will soon be available as an app for smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony). It has a fresh menu and a user-friendly navigation interface tailored to the size of each screen and the specifics of each device, as well as an easier way to find content.
Subscribers to the new service can create separate profiles for all their family members. There is also a special me nu for young children, with a friendly environment, as well as restrictions on access to content.
Subscribers can get Cosmote TV's OTT service with a variety of options: combined with Cosmote Double Play programmes for integrated internet, fixed telephony and TV services; with one of four Cosmote TV OTT contract packages from EUR 8 per month provided with free Android TV Box, as well as with the Cosmote TV OTT Mini Packs packages (Cinema, Sports, Documentaries, Kids, Greek channels) and Cosmote TV Sports Daily Pass which provides access to Cosmote Sport channels for 24 hours.
The new streaming service allows end-users to view content on up to two devices at the same time. It will soon also be available for downloading and streaming offline.
The service can be obtained through the Cosmote and Germanos branch network, 13888 and Cosmote.gr. The Cosmote TV OTT Mini Packs and Sports Daily Pass will be soon available for purchase through the MyCosmote app.
