Sky Deutschland introduces parental control options for Sky Q mini box, apps

Sky Deutschland said that it has introduced parental control options for the Sky Q Mini Box, the Sky Q app on Apple TV and Samsung Smart TVs. These options were already available on the Sky Q Receiver and Sky+ Receiver.

With the "Standard" option, a parental control PIN is requested for content aimed at children aged 12 years or older from 06:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs, for content for children aged 16 or older from 06:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs, and for content aimed at people aged 18 years or older from 06:00 hrs to 23:00 hrs.
With the option "Individual", customers can choose a specific age group and time to use the PIN. With the "Never" option, customers without children can deactivate the instructions to use the PIN, with the exception of content offered on the Blue Movie channels.
Sky also recommends that customers regularly change the parental control PIN and regularly check the settings.
