You can use Marin Transit Connect for fast, reliable, low-cost travel in and around Northern San Rafael, including the Terra Linda and Civic Center areas. Marin Transit Connect is convenient and easy to use: Simply select your pick-up and drop-off point and a vehicle will meet you at the hot spot closest to your location within minutes of your request.

How does Connect work?
– Marin Transit Connect is an on-demand transit system service powered by Via that takes multiple passengers heading in the same direction and pools them in a shared vehicle. Using the app, type in your address and your destination and we'll match you with a vehicle going your way.
– To save time and reduce detours, we'll pick you up on a nearby corner and drop you off within very brief walking distance of your requested destination. Our smart algorithms provide trip times that are comparable to a taxi, even with multiple pick-ups along the way.
– Book rides on-demand, or pre-schedule them as needed! Create repeated bookings, connect to local and regional transit, and more; Marin Transit Connect is always available when you need it.
When does it operate?
How long will I wait?
– On average, our vans will come in minutes and you’ll always get an accurate estimate of your pick-up ETA before booking. You can also track your car in real-time in the app.
How many passengers will I share a car with?
– Our vans can comfortably accommodate multiple people so bring your friend along on the ride!
