Telekom Romania makes changes to TV channel line-up

Telekom Romania will add new channels from 1 January to its TVM and TVL packages available through all technologies, according to local publication Economica.net. At the same time, the company is removing Discovery group's channels from the Telekom and NextGen operators after the parties did not reach agreement on a new distribution deal.

The operator will no longer offer Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, Discovery Science, Discovery Showcase HD, Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2, Eurosport 2 HD, Eurosport 360 HD, Viasat HD, DTX HD, ID Xtra, TLC, Travel Channel HD, Food Network and their HD versions.
The channels that will join the operator's programme grid include National Geographic (National Geographic SD and HD, National Geographic Wild SD and HD and National Geographic People), Docubox, Viasat HD (Viasat Explore HD, Viasat Nature HD, Viasat History HD), Travel XP, Fight Box, Look Sport 2, Look Sport 3, Euronews and Timeless Drama Channel. The National Geogr aphic People channel will be available from February 2020.
